We're back...
Back to crowded subways, Gauloises smoking bars,
six flights of stairs to home and office, croissants and strong coffee.
Sometimes traffic seems to be coming from the wrong direction.
We're on faxes, phones and emails, so catch us while you can.
We can't tell how much we enjoyed Harrogate and Yorkshire.
You'll have to go and see for yourself:
The Royal Pump Museum, The Turkish Baths, The Fountains Abbey,
The Ripon Cathedral, and The York Minster ...
A big thank you goes to everyone at the Harrogate Theatre,
a great team of people we had a wonderful time meeting and working with.
We'd also like to send a special thanks to Stewart Smith.
He's one of those guys who's got a sense of detail
and perfection combined with a natural kindness.
The marketing department has done a great job too.
If you'd like to have a look at these cuttings we're proud of, here's the link:

Some reviewers need to be picky about uninteresting details,
others have the intelligence of useful comments, which is part of the game.
Our next stop is Canada. June 8th until the 18th,
on the Montréal St-Ambroise Fringe Festival
I Wish You Love is the title of the new show,
a show about, what else, love. But is it really that simple?
All we will say for now is that it will be based on an international selection
of cabaret songs with (tap)dancing, duets and sketches ...
These first lines are from Victor Hugo:
We spend half of our lives waiting for those we will love,
and the other half leaving those we love.
Dear David, if the invitation still stands we'd be happy
to bring this show to Harrogate next December.
Right now Isabelle is working on the releases of her records:
Something To Live For with René Urtreger on Label Elabeth,
and December Songs on PSClassics.
A promotional concert has been booked in New York; it's in Playbill.
Further information is on the web site: www.isabellegeorges.com
I am preparing a series of concerts in bars and small theatres.
Then there is the tour of Chopin, chanson de Daniel
and the recording of a new record: Les filles de la Rue de Rennes.

We're rebuilding this site with an online shop and lots of other features.
We wanted to perform Judy and Me at the Brighton Fringe,
but apparently we are too late. We can't find a suitable room available.
Brighton will have to wait until next year.
Judy and Me has won an award for Best Female Singer on Fringe Report.
Hopefully we'll be able to make it to London
for the presentation of the statues on
February 8th.
Do leave a message in the guestbook.
As always, we'll keep you posted.
Last but not least:
Thank you to those who keep following us wherever we go.
With love,
Isabelle Georges & Frédérik Steenbrink. |
